ISO Series End Suction Pump – Back Pull-Out Design for Easy Maintenance

Back pull-out construction allows removal of rotating assembly without disturbing piping or motor. Hydraulically balanced impeller reduces axial thrust. Rugged bearing housing supports long operation life. Wide material selection for corrosive seawater or high-chloride media. Standard mechanical seal or optional packing seal. Flanged connections per ISO/DIN standard.

What is the main difference between ISO series end suction pump and standard centrifugal pumps?
The ISO series follows international dimensional standards (ISO 2858) for end suction pumps, allowing direct interchangeability with major European brands. The back pull-out design is a key feature – you can service the seal, bearings, and impeller without removing the pump casing from the piping, saving significant maintenance time.
Can this pump handle seawater or brackish water?
Yes. For seawater or brackish water applications, we recommend stainless steel (316L) or duplex steel construction. These materials provide excellent resistance to chloride corrosion. Standard carbon steel is not suitable for seawater. Please specify your water chemistry when ordering.
What is the maximum working pressure and temperature range?
The ISO series has a maximum working pressure of 1.6 MPa (16 bar / 232 psi) and a liquid temperature range from -20°C to +120°C. This makes it suitable for hot water circulation (e.g., district heating) as well as cold water applications.
What electrical configurations are available for international orders?
The ISO series is available with single-phase 220V motors (for smaller models), three-phase 380V, and other common voltages. Both 50Hz and 60Hz options are supported. For higher power above 90kW, we can also supply high-voltage motors (6kV/10kV) on request.
How does the ISO series compare to ANSI pumps for chemical service?
ISO series pumps follow metric dimensional standards (ISO 2858) whereas ANSI pumps follow imperial standards (ASME B73.1). Both are suitable for chemical and industrial service. The ISO series is more common in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. We offer both ISO and ANSI designs. Please advise your preferred standard.
